One of Bali’s holiest temples dating back to 926 ad. Renowned for its crystal-clear springs that flow through 30 sacred waterspouts, believed to purify and bless those who bathe in the holy water. While it’s free to visit Ubud Palace during the day, the only way to enter in the evening is by buying a ticket for the nightly Legong Dance performance.

Legong is a traditional form of Balinese dance characterized by intricate finger movements, complicated footwork, and intense facial expressions. It was once a form of royal entertainment and many of the dances act out traditional Balinese stories and legends.

Legong Dance performances take place at Ubud Palace every evening at 7:30pm and generally last around 1-1.5 hours.
