Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

Home to over 1,000 balinese long-tailed macaques, visitors have a chance to wander through 14th-century ancient temples and observe the monkeys roam freely, but remember to hold on to your belongings - macaques are curious, not shy, and quick!

Tegenungan Waterfall

Pro Tip: If you wish to skip the stairs, consider visiting Omma day club which provides an elevator option where you can enjoy stunning views from their infinity pool while sipping a drink. Reserve a spot at Omma Day Club here.

Pura Tirta Empul Holy Water Temple

One of Bali’s holiest temples dating back to 926 ad. Renowned for its crystal-clear springs that flow through 30 sacred waterspouts, believed to purify and bless those who bathe in the holy water. Visitors can participate in a purification ritual in the temple’s sacred pools, making it a unique spiritual experience. Read More!


Pro Tip: Bring your swimsuit/towel, wear a sarong (provided at the entrance), visit early morning for a peaceful experience and respect the temple’s sacredness by observing quiet, mindful, and most importantly, demure behavior.

Cretya Ubud (Day Club)

Stunning views and refreshing pools, the venue features a vibrant day club where guests can unwind, swim, and stroll through nature. This is our favorite experience in bali.


Pro Tip: be sure to reserve online in advance and enjoy seating that can be redeemed for food/drinks (link for reservations). Bring your swimsuit and towel. Also, take the opportunity to explore the nearby rice terraces.

Ceking Rice Terrace

Ubud Palace Legong Dance Show

While it’s free to visit Ubud Palace during the day, the only way to enter in the evening is by buying a ticket for the nightly Legong Dance performance.


Legong is a traditional form of Balinese dance characterized by intricate finger movements, complicated footwork, and intense facial expressions. It was once a form of royal entertainment and many of the dances act out traditional Balinese stories and legends.


Legong Dance performances take place at Ubud Palace every evening at 7:30pm and generally last around 1-1.5 hours.


Tip: You can buy tickets at the door or book online in advance.
